Berlin: Appalled at the ineptitude of the English in killing and disposing of thousands of corpses during the current foot and mouth crisis, the German government has offered some welcome advice in the fields of mass killing and the destruction of corpses.

"We the German people are appalled at the English handling of the foot and mouth disaster, and the mass shooting and burning of thousands of animals" stated German Foreign Minister Hans Kreb.

"Such inefficiency!" the minister continued, his voice rising in pitch and volume. "It is well proven that shooting is an extremely poor means of disposing of a large number of mammals. It is far better to gas them, and to burn them, not in an open field, but in an efficient oven, where temperatures of 3000 degrees can easily be attained!!!"
