NASHVILLE: The entertainment world was shocked last night when a group of meddling kids and a dog, unmasked megastar Ricky Martin to reveal a cleverly disguised Billy Ray Cyrus.

It appears that Billy Ray Cyrus, reinvented himself as Latin singer "Ricky Martin" in a cunning attempt to propel himself back into the media spotlight. Cyrus proved incredibly popular as Martin, but suspicion arose after an observant fan noticed that Cyrus and Martin both drew a similar "love-heart" when dotting the 'I' in their autograph's.

The unmasking occurred backstage after a Ricky Martin concert in front of 30,000 fans in Nashville. The kids and their dog gained backstage entry by posing as roadies and pounced on Cyrus before he could perform his third encore of Livin' La Vida Loca.

It is not known at this time whether any action will be taken against Cyrus, although one time "Worlds Biggest Ricky Martin" fan Clint Barton of Dallas, did not rule out the possibility of civil action. "If I had known that Ricky Martin was really Billy Ray Cyrus there's no way that I would have purchased his albulm, T-shirt, latte coffee mug, leopard skin Santa sack, or my Livin' La Vida Loca Baseball Cap. I was misled. I have become a laughing stock. This merchandise is now worth nothing."

This is the biggest news to hit the entertainment industry since the mid 90's when it was revealed that Milli Vanilli did not actually sing on their own albulms, and is as big as last months revelation that Madonna is really a rare type of vampire that survives by sucking talent, rather than blood, out of collaborators.
