| PYONGYANG: The leader of North Korea, Kim Jung Il has confided to his best friend that he feels ignored by George W. Bush.
"I just want him to notice me!" he confided to Lee Sook, his roommate. "I’ve tried everything, missile tests, restarting nuclear facilities, expelling US diplomats, but nothing seems to work. It’s like I don’t even exist!" he sobbed. Sook suggested that Kim hand-make a special card to be sent to Bush at the White House, saying "Hi remember me? My country fought a war with yours in the 1950’s. One day I might nuke Japan." Jung agreed that it was a "neat idea" and set about making the card with glue and scissors. He put a picture of himself on the front and decorated it with glitter and felt tip pen, before sending it to Washington via Fed Ex. It is not known whether President Bush has seen the card. ![]() The front of the card Kim Jung Il sent to President Bush |
