| LOS ANGELES: Atlantic records have announced that a new collection of rare Frank Sinatra recordings will be released next year to coincide with the fifth anniversary of his death.
The collection includes a number of standards from his 60-year recording career along with some never heard before songs recorded shortly before his death. The previously unreleased tracks interestingly show a previously unknown penchant of Sanatra's towards recording little known artists from New Zealand. The recordings include covers of Magic What She Do originally recorded by Dave Dobbyn, Poi-E by the Patea Maori Club, Life Begins at Forty and a duet of Randolf's Going Home with Nancy Sinatra. The 3 CD collectors edition box set will be available in shops in May next year. |
