| AUCKLAND: Spinner has won a major award at the Qantas media awards. Spinner won the inaugural best article published in Spinner award at the awards ceremony held at Auckland's sky city this week.
Further celebrations were in order when it was announced that Spinner also came runner up in the best article published in Spinner category as well as receiving a further notable mention in the same category. This is the first time that Spinner has been nominated for the award and Spinner Founder/Owner Rupert Murdoch was said to be very happy with the result. "This award just goes to show that when it comes to articles published in Spinner then Spinner does it better than anyone else," Spinner's editor announced after the awards ceremony.
