AUCKLAND: Former Chairperson and political favourite Dr Ross Armstrong is to have is story told on TV1 in a two-part interview that promises to tell all of behind the scenes workings at the Beehive.

Previously described by the PM as "My Rock", Armstrong fell out of favour with the Clark-Cullens when police found items belonging to the PM including jewellery and family photos in his Thorndon address. The court case was recently ended, in what some believe was pressure given from the Beehive 9th floor.

In the television interview, Dr Armstrong will take time out to thank his family and Paul Keating for their support. He will also reveal allegations of what he believes was a cover-up of a rape of a male parliamentary assistant in the mid-80s.

TV3 plans to air their "When Prime Ministers Attack!" to go head-to-head with Part 1 of the TVNZ special.
