AUCKLAND: Local Nigerian internet cafe owner Otto Kentebe is becoming increasingly frustrated by people failing to reply to his emails. Kentebe who sends at least 10 emails a day to friends and business associates just can't understand why people refuse to respond to even the simplest of his emailed queries. Mr Kentebe who has lived in New Zealand since 1987 is growing increasingly frustrated with his emails being ignored.

"Last week I emailed a prospective client to talk about a joint venture, while yesterday I emailed an accountant to talk about a new business opportunity, but again no reply. I just don’t get it, surely it is common courtesy to reply to an email when you receive one?”

Mr Kentebe has been forced to consider changing the sentence he uses for his subject line. "Perhaps if I write Important Business Proposal in the subject line of every email, people will pay more attention to my correspondence,” Kentebe mused.
