Holmes tells darkie kids with t-shirts to fuck off

AUCKLAND: Veteran New Zealand broadcaster Paul Holmes is in hot water after another alleged slur this week - this time to a group of visiting primary school students.

It is believed that a Kapa Haka group from Newmarket Intermediate were at TVNZ to film a waiata for TV2’s Flipside program. While preparing to leave the building after their performance some members of the group approached Holmes asking him to autograph their group‘s t-shirts.

Eyewitnesses claim they overheard Holmes tell the students “Why won’t you cheeky little darkie kids just fuck off with your t-shirts,” before storming off to the safety of Bill Ralston’s office.

The comments have left many at the school angry and confused with the treatment the students received. “The comments were really out of line. My daughter was really offended” said one parent.

Television New Zealand have stated they will take no action over the schools complaints and have rigorously denied that the comments took place.
