| CHRISTCHURCH: The parents of the Christchurch children at the centre of the latest sexual abuse scandal at a Catholic school are outraged that the abuses have been occurring for so long.
"It sickens me to think that the same priest who molested me as a child has now gone on to molester my son," said one father who wished to remain anonymous. "The church or the government must do something to end this vicious cycle of depravity." "If only we had some sort of warning that this sort of thing would happen to our children," stated another parent. "We could have taken preventative measures and sent our children to a different school; perhaps a nice safe Catholic boarding school, where they would be well out of harms way." |
