Cullen anonymously sends Blair retirement article to Clark.

WELLINGTON: Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Michael Cullen anonymously forwarded a story on Tony Blair’s retirement to Prime Minister Helen Clark today.  The story entitled “Blair: 10 Years is enough” featured on the New Zealand Herald website and outlined Blair’s reasons for retiring, before briefly summarising his time as Prime Minister of Britain.

 

 
Woman apologises over false rape by P-fuelled pit bull

AUCKLAND: A South Auckland woman who falsely claimed she was raped by a pit bull terrier on P has publicly apologised to genuine rape victims and to pit bulls. Her lawyer, Jacinta Hawker, stated that her client is extremely remorseful.

Public servants are wasting at least 1,690,720 hours a year on pointless exercises that are routed by political motive at the last minute - the equivalent to a year's work for 42,268 full-time staff.
